It's great news, but I still wish I lived in Victoria so I could preference Conroy LAST. I know it would take a lot to unseat him, but after his shocking (and that's putting it nicely) behaviour towards opponents both big businesses and regular Australians (even accusing members of his own party of being sympathetic to child pornographers) and the general contempt towards regular Australians I feel he needs to be held accountable for that, or at least for blowing ~$30 million on the failed NBN Tender… I can't believe the opposition let that one slide… $30,000,000!!
Yes, this debate has turned me slightly bitter and I know I should hate the game not the player, but if any player is worth disliking it is deservedly the dishonourable Senator Conroy.
Hoorah!! This is a win for democracy and freedom of information the world over.. now lets just hope Hockey sticks to it!

Not yet. It's dead when it's dead. This is a hopeful sign, but the fight is not over yet. When Labor themselves come out against the plan, then I'll throw a party. Until that time, it would be inappropriate to relax.

In the end it's the same old, "different name, same bullshit" type election. At first I thought Abbots Bias catholic ways would have abolished porn forever! and obviously the rights to Internet privacy.
Well Liberals, you have won an extra vote, it didn't take much for you to do it. But if can keep Abbot (And his super catholic powers) in line for the next 3 years, if he's elected that is, then you've done well.
